Audition Announcement:

The Little Dog Laughed
by Douglas Carter Beane

Olympia Little Theatre is casting 2 men and 2 women for their June
performance of "The Little Dog Laughed" by Douglas Carter Beane. Beane's
play was nominated for a Tony Award in 2007.
Needed are: two men for the roles of Mitch (playing age
25-40) an up & coming Hollywood leading man, and Alex (playing age
20's - 30) his boyfriend; and two women to play Diane
(playing age 25-45) Mitch's ambitious agent, and Ellen (early 20's
- 30), the boyfriend's girlfriend. There is brief nudity for the male
roles and the play contains explicit language.
The play is a modern comedy about hypocrisy in Hollywood with much
fast-paced dialog especially heavy in the part of Diane.
Auditions will consist of cold reading of sides from the script. Copies
are available at Olympia area libraries or by contacting the Theatre.

Monday April 20th @ 7:00 PM
Tuesday April 21st @ 7:00 PM
Auditions are scheduled for 7pm Monday April 20th and Tuesday April 21st at Olympia Little Theatre 1925 Miller Avenue in Olympia or by appointment by contacting the director Toni Holm, tch@Well.com

Rehearsals will run throughout May and the show opens June 6th.
