Olympia Little Theater is excited to share a momentous achievement in
our journey toward sustainability: the successful acquisition of the final
puzzle part for our solar project, thanks to a generous grant approval
from Puget Sound Energy (PSE) amounting to over $41,000. This significant
financial support, combined with the contributions of over $15,000 from our dedicated
patrons and additional tax credits, has transformed our vision for a solar-powered theater
from an idea into a tangible reality. We are immensely grateful for the collaboration and
generosity that have made this project possible.
With the support of PSE, our patrons, and the community, we are thrilled to announce that
the installation of the solar panels is well underway and on track to be completed before
the commencement of the next season. This milestone marks a major leap forward in our
commitment to reducing our environmental impact and embracing sustainable energy
